Terms of Service
Effective October 9, 2026
Clear rules for using Vinsent Security safely and responsibly.
1. Acceptance
By inviting or using Vinsent Security, you agree to these terms and confirm that you are authorized to configure the relevant Discord server.
2. Service scope
Vinsent provides security automation, moderation, backup and recovery, logging, customization, notification, and music functions. Features may change as Discord APIs and infrastructure evolve.
3. Required permissions
The bot needs the permissions shown during authorization to perform the requested protections and restoration actions. You are responsible for positioning the bot role high enough to manage the roles and members it must protect.
4. Responsible use
You may not use the bot to harass users, evade Discord enforcement, access servers without authorization, distribute unlawful content, overload infrastructure, or attempt to extract tokens, credentials, source systems, or other users’ data.
5. Security actions
When enabled, anti-nuke and AutoMod features can ban, quarantine, time out, remove roles from, or otherwise restrict accounts based on configured triggers. Server owners are responsible for reviewing settings, whitelist entries, role hierarchy, and logs.
6. Backups and availability
Recovery features are best-effort. Discord permission limits, deleted resources, outages, rate limits, or API changes may prevent complete restoration. Maintain independent records for data that is critical to your community.
7. Third-party services
Music playback, Discord, MongoDB, webhook delivery, hosting, and other integrations are governed by their own terms and availability. Vinsent Security is not responsible for independent third-party outages.
8. Suspension
Access may be limited or terminated for abuse, security risks, illegal activity, or material violation of these terms. You may stop using the service at any time by removing the bot.
9. Disclaimer and limitation
The service is provided on an as-available basis without a guarantee that every attack or loss will be prevented. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service.
10. Changes
These terms may be updated as the service evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
